This one-day, in-person, interactive workshop will introduce Nonviolent Communication (also known as Compassionate Communication) as developed by Marshall Rosenberg. You will have an opportunity to grow in your capacity to listen deeply to others and yourself, navigate conflict, and make life-serving choices that honor the needs of all.

Led by Steve Tumolo, PhD, certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication. This workshop, hosted by Bay State Cohousing in Malden, is open to all. The requested fee is $200. What You Can Expect

You will have the opportunity to develop useful tools for personal and professional communication. Our goals are that participants will:

1. Be introduced to Compassionate Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg, and grow in a nonjudgmental, curious approach to others and all of life.

2.  Grow in your capacity to listen well to yourself and others.

3. Develop a Needs-consciousness, an awareness of the omnipresence of human needs and their influence in shaping speech and action, and grow your capacity to attune to your own needs and the needs of others.

4. Develop your ability to wade into conflict and navigate conflict effectively, better able to foster win-win-win outcomes

This workshop is hosted by Bay State Cohousing and will be held in their community room, 368 Pleasant St. , Malden, MA 02148.

Nonviolent Communication has profoundly impacted my relationships, work, and sense of meaning and purpose in life. I am eager to share this life-changing practice. I am certified by the Center for Nonviolent Communication as a Compassionate Communication trainer. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, an accredited T’ai Chi Chih instructor, and hold a PhD in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. I’ve had the gift of learning directly from Marshall Rosenberg and Robert Gonzales.
